A History of the Boer War 1899-1900
A real must for those with ancestors who fought in the Boer War or for those interested in its history. An exceptionally well-illustrated set of books containing beautiful illustrations, photos and a hand tinted map of South Africa. It has a chapter for every advance and battle. Amongst its 700 pages it has a roll of honour and lists battalions involved in the war including those from colonial countries and volunteers. The history is very readable and detailed, it even tells you about the type of rations the army and natives ate, the type of weapons they used and so on. The effect the war had on the natives as well as the army is all included in this fabulous set of books.

This product is sold as a CD SECOND or SPARE.
"CD seconds" or "spares" are perfectly good data wise, but have been put aside due to:
- faulty label printing, e.g. off colour or misaligned. A few have been manually labelled or corrected
- over-produced initially, so offered as "spares" to clear
They are all offered at 60% to 90% discount (from the normal price). They will be supplied in clear CD sleeves, rather than the normal CD cases. In many cases they are the last available, i.e. they won't be available, even at full price, when sold out.
