Government Gazettes are a valuable source of information for family and local historians. Being fully word searchable, there is so much more to be found on these digital versions than can be found on the online versions via the State Library of Victoria's website. They are also a window into a huge range of public records accessible via the Public Record Office Victoria. I couldn't work as a professional historian without them, and this set of multiple decades-worth of gazettes is an absolute bargain and huge time saver.
