Eileen has done us a great service by interpreting the ships log. Two notes Mary Hickie Page 7 is actually Mary Hickey and is the daughter of John and Margaret Hickey. Thank you

The book is an accumulation of snippets and lists concerning the voyage of the Ocean Chief. It may not be exciting reading, but it sure saves a lot of research time.
