This historical and genealogical account begins with the first of that name, which was taken from the barony of Dallas in the county of Elgin. The barony was located on both sides of the river Lossie, and was also known as Strath Dallas. The name appears in many variations, including Dolays, Doleys, Dolas, Dolles, Dollos, Dolass, Dolses, Dollors, and Dallas. This study includes a long list of cadet lines, as well as additional Dallas families situated over Scotland, but not known to be directly related to this primary branch.
This CD consists of scans of the original book, which can be browsed, enlarged and printed if required. Please note: it is not searchable.
