The elected leaders of the MacMillan clan society are the authors of these seven addresses, given primarily in the last decade of the 19th century. The purpose was to make clansfolk more aware of the history of the family, its historical associations, and its triumphs and tragedies. Each address takes a portion of MacMillan history and tradition and redefines it for those to whom it might be new or unknown.
