This CD contains two small books, the first, The Story of Shaftesbury, gives details about the history of the Abbey and its more recent excavations. The second and slightly larger book, Ancient History of Shaftesbury, contains a ground plan of the Abbey and more in depth historical detail about the town and Abbey, starting with its construction around 950 BC. It also includes the Wiltshire Archeological Society's account of its findings in 1861.

This product is sold as a CD SECOND or SPARE.

"CD seconds" or "spares" are perfectly good data wise, but have been put aside due to:

faulty label printing, e.g. off colour or misaligned. A few have been manually labelled or corrected
over-produced initially, so offered as "spares" to clear

They are all offered at 60% to 90% discount (from the normal price). They will be supplied in clear CD sleeves, rather than the normal CD cases. In many cases they are the last available, i.e. they won't be available, even at full price, when sold out.
