    • victims of horse and cattle stealing or straying
    • victims of lost or stolen property
    • victims of sheep stealing or straying

Example entry taken from the 2 April 1880 issue:

CITY OF HOBART
STOLEN on the 27th ultimo, from a clothes line onthe premises of Mary Shepherd, Davey-street:--45white flannel petticoats; 1 red ditto; and 1 unbleached sheet.
STOLEN or strayed two milch cows, one on the 25thultimo the other on the 26th ultimo, from the premises ofMr. Michael Donnolly, of Park-street, one a pale redwith brand J. C. on the back, the other dark red, the head a darker shade than the body.
