    • victims of lost or stolen property
    • victims of sheep stealing or straying
Example entry taken from the 2 July 1909 issue:

BURGLARY.
MERSEY DISTRICT. - About 1 a.m. on the 26th ultimo, a room, which is used as the Sprent Post Office, in the dwelling of Miss Ella Elliott, Sprent, was burglariously entered, entrance being affected by breaking the window, and the following property stolen therefrom: - A type-box, containing the office type and about £1 11s.; and the key of the office safe. The type-box, type, and key are the property of the Commonwealth Government, and are identifiable by Miss Elliott; the money is the property of the latter.
