This 44 page booklet covers the history of photograph through different technical processes and includes a checklist for describing and dating photographs together with advice for long-term storage. Given its compact size and excellent illustrations it is a convenient and readily understandable introduction for genealogists seeking to extract the maximum information from old photographs.

This is a well presented book with all the basics of how to date photographs.
