SAMPLE ENTRY:

ARMY MADE HIM AN ANNOUNCER
This week's radio personality started working at a radio station just because he didn't want to become a bank clerk.
He is Robert Caldicott, 28, of the ABC. Bob has been connected with the Commission since he was 11-17 years ago, when he sang with the 5CL Boys' Club as a boy soprano. His family wanted him to work in a bank, but he had other ideas, so he joined the Commission in 1938 as an office boy, and after awhile was made a sound effects engineer. ... In 1942 Bob joined the Army, and was in the signals branch for 31 years. After VP day he joined Army Amenities Station at Bougainville and Rabaul, to be in touch with radio work and brush up on it before returning to Adelaide. After a while he was taken on the announcing staff, and used to conduct the early morning program and a listeners' request hour daily.
