SAMPLE ENTRY:
Tenor Sings Ballads
HAROLD Gard is known in Adelaide largely for his work in connection with grand opera, and when his name appears in the radio programmes listeners naturally look for operatic items in his list of songs. But when he broadcasts on Monday night from 5CL, in association with the A.B.C. (Adelaide) Studio; Orchestra, it will be in ballads, not opera. He is to sing four delightful songs. Desiree, I Look Into Your Garden, From the Land of the Sky-Blue Water, and An Evening Song.
This CD contains high quality scanned images of the original newspapers (an incomplete set), and has been bookmarked for easy navigation. Pages can be searched, browsed, enlarged and printed out if required.
