Electoral rolls are the nearest thing Australians have to census records, and hence they are extremely important and useful for local, family and social historians.

The rolls for Queensland in 1914 total over 10,300 pages. Entries are arranged alphabetically by district and by division within the district. You will find the details of about 300,000 voters who resided in Queensland at this time, and who were qualified (and registered) to vote. Apart from the annual rolls (published variously in late 1913 and early 1914), this includes the additional rolls published in April, June, August, and October 1914.
