Crimes and Offences not Otherwise Described
Wynnum.-Albert Victor Petersen, manager of the State Butcher's Shop, Bay terrace, Wynnum South, reports that a pane of glass, 36 by 40 inches (value, £2 10s), in the State Butcher's Shop, was broken, supposed wilfully caused by some person or persons unknown. Suspicion attaches to men who were heard talking near the shop at 11.25 p.m. on the 24th instant, when a crash of glass was heard by people in the vicinity.-5507. 27th September, 1920.

Murder
Kynuna.-Thomas William Magson was arrested at Kynuna on the 9th instant, charged with the murder of James Brennan, at Winton on the 8th instant, and was remanded to Winton on the 16th instant, and appeared before the Police Court there on the 20th idem, when he was discharged. During a quarrel between deceased and accused in a billiard-room at Kynuna, on the 4th instant, the former received injuries and was removed to the Winton Hospital, and died four days later. A post mortem examination on the body was made by Dr. George, when it was found that the death was due to compression of the spinal cord (cervical region following on fracture 6th cervical vertebrae), valvular aortic disease, pneumonia, and cardiac and respiratory failure.-5543. 29th September, 1920.
