Theodore is a small rural town of about 450 people on the Dawson River, 559 kilometres north-west from Brisbane. It is named after Ted Theodore, Premier of Queensland (1919-1925) and then later Treasurer of Australia (1929-1931). The cemetery is located at Woolthorpe Road, Theodore.

This database contains information on 348 people whose names appear on headstones in Theodore Cemetery - years of death range from 1939 to 2010. For each person the following fields have been indexed: Surname, Given Names, Date of Birth, Date of Death, Age, Comments and a photograph of the headstone.
