Police gazettes are a highly underused source of unique information - information that cannot be found elsewhere. WARRANTS ISSUED.
WARRANTS have been issued by the Courts mentioned for the arrest of persons hereinafter named and/or described:-
Burwood.-Burwood Bench-CECIL JAMES SMITH, stealing a gas stove, value £3, prop: of the War Service Homes Commission, at Enfield, on or about the 25th November, 1932, issued on the 29th ult., and signed by H. S. Beveridge, J.P.; 26, 5 ft. 7 in., thin build, fair compl., brown hair, hazel eyes; light-coloured suit, double-breasted vest, soft white shirt open at neck, and a brown felt hat turned down in front; a dealer. Identical with offender same name, alias Cyril Smith. (vide N.S.W. Photo.-book 123, page 14).
