SAMPLE ENTRY (from the 9 August 1911 issue):

Arson - £50 Reward
whereas on the 25th April, 1923, one stack of oaten hay, two stacks of wheaten hay, and two stacks of straw, situated at Wattle Park, near Jindera, the property of Carl Frederick Schmidt, were destroyed by fire, having been maliciously set fire to by some person or persons unknown; Notice is hereby given that a reward of Twnety-five Pounds (£25) will be paid by Government (in addition to a reward of Twnty-five Pounds (£25) offered by the said Carl Frederick Schmidt) for such information as shall lead to the apprehension and conviction of the guilty person or persons. In addition to the above reward, His Excellency the Governor will be advised to extend a free pardon to any accomplice, not being the person who actually caused the said fire, who shall first give such required information. This reward to remain in force for three months only.

Deserting Wives and Families, Service, etc.
Armidale - A warrant has been issued by the Armidale Bench for the arrest of Patrick Alfred Fitzgerald, charged with wife desertion. He is about 39 years of age, 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, stout build, fair complexion, brown hair turning grey, clean shaved, three artificial teeth, and one tooth in the front of the upper jaw gold-capped; dressed in a grey suit, and a brown felt hat; a returned soldier, and wears a badge. Complainant, Elizabeth Fitzgerald, Imperial Hotel, Armidale.
