A comprehensive conference, tour and cruise package - do any one, two or three components

This has been developed around a 4 night cruise on the Mannum based Murray Princess (our 19th Unlock the Past cruise). Before this there is a 3 day Adelaide program - 2 conference days with a free research/tourist day between those days. This is followed by two days in Mannum, with some conference sessions and tour activities ahead of the actual cruise. The final component is an optional 2 day Kangaroo Island tour after the cruise.

ADELAIDE - 2 conference days Wed 20 and Fri 22 Aug, with Thu 21 Aug as a free day for research or tourist activities. This will be open to anyone, whether on the cruise or not. Bookings will be separate - from late 2024/early 2025

MANNUM - 2 days Sat 23 to Mon 25 Aug 2025 PLUS the cruise - BOOKINGS NOW OPEN

Mannum, the birthplace of Murray River steam navigation, is about 90km (90 minutes) from Adelaide. With a wealth of history of its own, we have scheduled 2 days in Mannum to explore this history and share in some pre-cruise activities, including 4 conference sessions.

Added to this we have scheduled tour activities for the coach transfers to and from Mannum. The first will be through historic towns in the north east Adelaide Hills with significant connections to Mannum. The return will have stops at the Monarto Safari Park, the newest and largest open range zoo in Australia, and the Historic German town of Hahndorf.

• 1 day bus transfer via North East Hills to Mannum (with tourist stops) - Sat 23 Aug
• 2 days of conference and tour activities in Mannum - Sat afternoon 23 - early Mon afternoon 25 Aug
• 4 night Murray River Outback Heritage Cruise - Mon afternoon 25 Aug to Fri morning 29 Aug
• 1 day bus transfer via South East Freeway to Adelaide (with tourist stops) - Fri 29 Aug
