This valuable research tool provides an introduction to the Parliaments of the Estates of Scotland, with the dates when they met, pedigrees of the governing families who sat in Parliament, the districts of burghs, and the major corrections of parliamentary returns. The majority of this work is given over to an alphabetical of members by family, so that the family is first cited and then the individuals throughout the centuries in those families who sat in Parliament.
There is considerable genealogical and biographical material on each member, making the whole work a most helpful reference to the families who governed Scotland through much of its history.

This CD consists of scans of the original book, which can be browsed, enlarged and printed if required. Please note: it is not searchable.
