The British Newspaper Archive is also available via findmypast

The Guide describes each newspaper website separately to enable the user to take advantage of the site features. It includes points such as how to find help and details about re-use and copyright.

The last section of the Handy Guide provides a guide to advanced search techniques. This section outlines why you might not be able to locate the information you may be seeking and what you can do to find it. There is also a section on name searching outlining ways to find more references to a particular individual. The Guide also lists the wild cards applicable to each site and near or proximity searches, where they are available.
