The famous editor of The Scots Peerage, Sir James Balfour Paul, asked representatives of major families to provide historical and genealogical information about their family and the peerages it held for insertion into The Scots Peerage, which was in preparation in 1903-04. In this particular case, Col. Boyle was uncertain if the material which he accumulated might exceed the needs of the editors of that multi-volume work. He therefore published this booklet in order to preserve in its most complete form the data which he had collected.

This CD consists of scans of the original book which can be browsed, enlarged and printed if required. Please note: it is not searchable.
