The "Boyd Family Records" is a collection of articles relating to the Boyd Family compiled together on a CD-ROM.

This collection contains four separate articles relating to the history of the Boyd family. Included are:

1. The section pertaining to the Boyds in Genealogical Account of the Principal Families in Ayrshire. Included is material relating to the Boyd Earls of Kilmarnock, as well as to the Boyds of Pitcon, Carlung, Orchard, and Portincross.
2. Material on the Boyds of Kilmarnock from Dundonald, by James  Gillespie.
3. The sections on the Boyd Earls of Kilmarnock from The Scots Peerage, by Sir James Balfour Paul.
4. 'The Boyds and Colquhouns', from The Scottish Antiquary; or, Northern Notes and Queries.

This CD consists of scans of the original books or documents, which can be browsed, enlarged and printed if required. Please note: it is not searchable.
