Overview - cruise - conference - tour package
A comprehensive conference, tour and cruise package - do any one, two or three components
This has been developed in three locations around a 4 night cruise on the Mannum based Murray Princess (our 19th Unlock the Past cruise).
ADELAIDE - 2 conference days Wed 20 and Fri 22 Aug, with Thu 21 Aug as a free day for research or tourist activities. Click here for further details on the Adelaide program.
MANNUM - 2 days Sat 23 to Mon 25 Aug 2025 PLUS the cruise - BOOKINGS NOW OPEN
Two days in Mannum to explore its history and share in some pre-cruise activities, including 4 conference sessions.

KANGAROO ISLAND - an optional 2 day add on tour (after the cruise) Sat 30 and Sun 31 Aug 2025. Bookings will be separate - from mid Aug 2024. See below for more details on the Kangaroo Island tour.

ITINERARY - Sat 30 and Sun 31 August 2025 - after the conference and cruise. Times are approximate
Day 1
- 6.30am Pick up at an Adelaide hotel (or the Adelaide Central Bus Station)
- Charter Coach transfer to Cape Jervis
- 9.00am Ferry to Kangaroo Island
- Full Day Kangaroo Island Tour
- Prospect Hill/Pennington Bay photo stop
- Clifford’s Honey Farm – Guided Tour
- Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery – Guided Tour and Lunch
- Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park
- Kingscote - Reeves Point, Silo – Photo stop
- 5.00pm Drop off Aurora Ozone Hotel
- 2 Course Dinner at the hotel
- Accommodation: Aurora Ozone Hotel, Kingscote
Day 2
- Breakfast at the hotel
- 8.30am Pick up Aurora Ozone Hotel
- Flinders Chase National Park – Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch
- Vivonne Bay – 2 Course lunch
- Raptor Domain - Birds of Prey Show
- Seal Bay Conservation Park – Guided beach walk
- Penneshaw Hotel – 1 Course Pre Ferry Dinner
- 7.00pm Drop off Penneshaw Terminal
- 7.30pm Ferry to Cape Jervis
- Charter Coach transfer to Adelaide
- 10.20pm Drop off Adelaide Central Bus Station
COST & BOOKINGS

Bookings are expected to open in late September.
Price includes:
- 1 night accommodation on Kangaroo Island with breakfast
- 2 days of expert commentary by a local driver/guide
- Morning pick-up and evening set down at an Adelaide hotel (to be advised)
- Return ferry crossing with Kangaroo Island SeaLink - Cape Jervis/Penneshaw/Cape Jervis
- A 2 Course dinner, bed and breakfast basis in the Executive ROH rooms at the Aurora Ozone Hotel
- Chartered air-conditioned touring coach including English speaking driver as per itinerary
- Lunch and Attractions with prepaid admissions as per itinerary

- Tour deposit - a deposit of $100 per person is required when booking
Final payment - required by 15 May 2025 - Cancellation - you may cancel with full refund of deposit up to 15 April 2025 if booked with us.
